Digital
Printing Technology -- While digital capture can not yet match large
format quality, the same is not true of digital
printing technologies. I use state of the art
equipment to print my own giclee photographs on
the most archival paper and ink combinations
capable of reproducing the full gamut of colors
required for my nature and landscape work.“Canvas is an excellent medium for photographic reproduction because it eliminates the need for glass and allows reflection-free viewing of the image. I use the highest quality and the most archival canvas available. Canvas prints may be coated with giclee veneer for UV protection and to prevent them from being scratched or damaged. For photographs printed on paper, I use the heaviest, most archival matte papers currently available. Papers in the range of 300-500 grams per square meter are more resistant to rippling and warping than lighter papers and thus avoid the need for adhesive mounting. |
